BENIN – DJOUGOU HOSPITAL

This new hospital is helping to improve access to healthcare for the people of the Donga department. With a surface area of 6,924 m2 and a hundred beds, Djougou Hospital has been designed to replace the current hospital buildings dating back to 1974. Along with administrative premises, the hospital boasts an Emergency Room, an area pharmacy, a laboratory, a blood bank, a radiology department, an operating block for the conducting of general surgery, gynaecology, ophthalmology, paediatrics, stomatology and ENT, a maternity ward, an internal medicine department, a disinfection area, a medical fluids distribution centre, a morgue and a modern incinerator.
